Qui Jin Framed Print
Qui Jin was a feminist revolutionary in China. Executed as part of an uprising in 1907, she is considered a national hero in China. She spoke out for women's right to education, the freedom to choose who they marry, and she spoke out against foot binding. She was also a poet, and this first line from one of her poems is pretty epic: "Don't tell me women are not the stuff of heroes..."
