Sonia Sotomayor Framed Print
Wrapping up the ladies of the Supreme Court for this collection, we have Sonia Sotomayor. I love this project because I'm getting to research these wonderful ladies and learn more about them. The first Latina Supreme Court justice in U.S. history, she had a modest upbringing in the South Bronx. Justice Sotomayor has had a hand in keeping the affordable care act afloat and making gay marriage legal in all 50 states. I found this quote by her that I love: "Although I am an American, love my country and could achieve its opportunity of succeeding at anything I worked for, I also have a Latina soul and heart, with the magic that carries." 💓
Printed on archival and acid-free lustre Kodak ENDURA Premier Paper with archival, pigment-based inks, the 8x8 print comes in a 1.25’’ solid wood frame with a 2’’ white mat. The full size of the frame is 14x14 inches, and it has paper backing with sawtooth hanger. The frame comes in three shades; natural wood, white or black.
